Alexandra Priess

Alexandra Priess is a seasoned legal professional specializing in reinsurance and credit and surety within the EMEA region. Currently serving as the Reinsurance Transactions Legal Head EMEA P&C/L&H Director at Swiss Re, Alexandra has held prominent positions including Global Head Legal Credit & Surety Director and Legal Counsel, Vice President, Global Credit & Surety. Additionally, Alexandra is a member of the B3i Strategic Advisory Board. Earlier in the career, Alexandra practiced as a litigation attorney in Canada for firms such as Armstrong Simpson and Epstein Wood, following a summer law student role at Beck Robinson & Company. Alexandra holds a Juris Doctor (JD) from The University of British Columbia, earned between 2004 and 2007, and a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) from South Ural State University (SUSU), completed in 1999.
