Christoph Gaus

Christoph Gaus has been Chief Executive Officer of elipsLife and member of the Life Capital Executive Committee since 18 October 2019.

In this role, Mr Gaus is responsible for the development of business in Europe and the US as one-stop shop for all risk products for corporate customers.

Mr Gaus has more than 20 years of experience in the insurance sector. He joined Swiss Re as elipsLife's CEO Europe in June 2018. Prior to that, he held leadership roles at Zurich Insurance Group, where he was Head of Retail Management and a Member of the Executive Board for the Group's Swiss business, and Swiss Mobiliar Insurance Company.
