Claudia Lozada

Claudia Lozada is a highly experienced professional in the fields of risk management and actuarial science, currently serving as the Head of Solvency Reporting and Analytics, Head of Internal Model Transformation, and Head of Risk Insights and Governance at Swiss Re since July 2018, following a tenure as Senior Risk Manager. Prior to Swiss Re, Claudia held various leadership roles at Zurich Insurance Company Ltd, including Head of Capital Planning and Economic Capital Manager from August 2010 to May 2018, and worked as an Actuarial Analyst at Aon Global Risk Consulting. Claudia started their academic career with a post-doctoral position in Statistics at the Ecole Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne. Educational qualifications include a PhD and MSc in Statistics from the University of Warwick, along with a BSc in Actuarial Sciences from the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México, and recognition as an Actuary (ASA) by the Swiss Association of Actuaries.
