Gianfranco Lot

In his current role, he is responsible for managing client relationships with large insurance clients. Previously, he held the role of Client Executive, Managing Director, in the Globals Division, from 2013 until April 2020.

Gianfranco began his career in 1987 at Zurich Insurance, where he held various sales and underwriting management positions until 1995 when he joined Swiss Re as a Casualty Underwriter for Division Asia. In 1999 he joined Swiss Re New Markets focusing on Alternative Risk Transfer for Corporates.

Gianfranco left briefly in 2002, to become Head of Group Risk Pooling and Risk Strategies at Converium, before re-joining Swiss Re in 2006 in our Structured Reinsurance Solutions unit, which he led globally, based in Armonk NY, until 2013.

Gianfranco Lot was born in 1971 and is a dual Swiss and Italian citizen. He speaks English, German, Italian and French fluently.
