Martin Kauth

Martin Kauth, FCII, is an experienced Senior Underwriter Engineering at Swiss Re since 2021, focusing on the Central, Northern, and Eastern European markets, particularly the London Market, Germany, and the Nordics. Responsibilities include underwriting facultative and treaty engineering portfolios, delivering high-quality risk solutions, and enhancing client relationships. Previously, Kauth served as Senior Underwriter Specialty Property, Engineering & Energy Downstream at PartnerRe, where efforts centered on global construction and engineering treaty reinsurance, portfolio management, and client strategy development. Earlier experience includes working with Zurich Insurance Company and Allianz, which involved various underwriting roles and projects. Kauth holds an MBA in Corporate Finance and Strategy, a CAS in Reinsurance Management, and a Bachelor of Business Administration, along with professional certification from the Chartered Insurance Institute.
