Prathmesh Ghnekar

Prathmesh Ghnekar is a seasoned professional in the insurance and actuarial sectors, currently serving as Vice President and Head of the L&H Pricing Office for the APAC region and Head of Pricing Services for HKTW at Swiss Re since September 2021. Prior to this role, Prathmesh was a Team Lead at ICICI Prudential Life Insurance Company Limited, where responsibilities included leadership in pricing strategies from March 2018 to September 2021. Earlier career experience includes multiple actuarial positions at SBI Life Insurance Co. Ltd. from May 2011 to March 2018, progressing from Assistant Manager to Associate Vice President. Prathmesh’s career began in the maritime industry, where experience included sailing as a 3rd Officer with Valles Steamship Company. An educational background in Insurance and Finance includes a PGDM from the National Insurance Academy.
