Ralph Butterworth

Ralph Butterworth is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in the insurance and financial services sectors. Currently serving as Vice President at Swiss Re since July 2022, Ralph previously held various significant roles at Aon Inpoint from February 2009 to March 2020, including Group Managing Director, where responsibilities encompassed developing growth strategies for Fortune 250 clients. Ralph also led the Asia Pacific team, expanding the workforce to over 20 consultants and delivering strategic initiatives for regional markets. Prior to Aon, Ralph worked at UBS as Director, managing insurance market equities research, and held positions at Aon and Marsh in risk consulting and alternative risk transfer. Ralph holds a Master of Applied Finance from the University of Melbourne and a Bachelor of Science in Astrophysics from Monash University, along with a Graduate Diploma of Insurance from Deakin University.
