José Antonio Flores Muñoz

José Antonio Flores Muñoz has an extensive work experience spanning several industries. José Antonio currently serves as the Country Head & Managing Director of Swiss Steel Mexico & Alta Tecnologia en Tratamientos Termicos. Prior to this, they worked at voestalpine High Performance Metals Mexico as the Mexico Sales Director, where they were responsible for marketing special steels for oil and gas, aerospace, power generation, CPI, and sugar industries. José Antonio also worked at ASP Mexicana S.A. DE C.V. as the Gerente comercial, where they were responsible for commercializing products and services related to the oil and gas drilling industry. Additionally, they held the position of Gerente de Operaciones at Shawcor, where they oversaw the operation, administration, maintenance, and customer service of several plants in Mexico. Before that, they worked at Bredero Shaw as the Superintendente de Producción, responsible for plant operations and logistics. José Antonio also worked at Crowne Plaza Hotels & Resorts as the Quality and Training Coordinator, and at Holcim México and Cemento Apasco de Holcim as a Quality Coordinator, where they were involved in maintaining quality systems and implementing continuous improvement strategies. José Antonio Flores Muñoz completed a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the Centro Universitario Hispano Mexicano in 2017. José Antonio also obtained a degree in Alta Dirección, with a focus on Veracruz, from the same institution in 2012. In 2011, José Antonio earned a Mini MBA in Business Administration from the Instituto de Competencias Empresariales. Prior to that, they completed a degree in Ingeniería in Electronics from the Instituto Tecnológico de Veracruz in 1997. Additionally, José Antonio was awarded a degree from ASREHUVER, the Asociación de RH, between 2002 and 2012.
