Federica Lionetto has a diverse work experience that spans various sectors. Beginning in 2010, they worked as a Summer Student at Fermilab, followed by a role as a Summer Student at CERN in 2011 where they focused on trigger design for the NA62 experiment. In 2012, they continued their work at CERN as a Technical Student and later as a Graduating Student, where they contributed to heavy-flavour physics research. Moving on to academic roles, Federica joined the University of Zurich in 2013 as a PHD Candidate and Teaching Assistant, focusing on data analysis and classification strategies for measuring rare decays in particle physics using machine learning. They completed their PHD in 2018 and briefly worked as a Postdoc Researcher at the University of Zurich. Transitioning to the corporate world, Federica joined PwC Switzerland in 2018 as a Consultant in Data and Analytics, and later as an Assistant Manager in the same field. In 2019, they also took on the role of External Lecturer at the University of Zurich. Currently, Federica serves as a Senior Expert Data Scientist and Project Lead at Swiss International Air Lines, where they utilize their expertise in data science and project management.
