Waël Hamdan

Waël Hamdan is a seasoned data engineer with extensive experience in the field, currently serving as a Senior Data Engineer at Swiss International Air Lines since February 2023. Prior to this role, Waël worked at ELCA Group as a Data Engineer from March 2021 to January 2023 and held similar positions at SAP and Ericsson, where contributions included the development of a machine learning classifier and an Android app. Other notable experience includes an internship at IBM as a Software Engineer, where Waël addressed compatibility issues for IBM clients and co-authored white papers, as well as organizing a Data Science Summer School at DataVenture.
