Fatemeh Borran

Fatemeh Borran is a Principal Product Owner for Data, Analytics & AI at Swisscom since January 2016, leading cross-functional teams in developing AI-based products such as chatbots and voice bots. Borran has successfully managed end-to-end IT projects, contributing to the product vision and strategy while implementing team Objectives and Key Results (OKRs). Notable achievements include increasing the automation rate in the chatbot billing domain. Prior roles include Senior Data Scientist within the same division, where Borran created data-driven solutions that generated significant cost savings, and various positions at EPFL, including Postdoctoral Researcher and Research Assistant focusing on distributed algorithms and fault-tolerant systems. Borran earned a Ph.D. in Computer Science from EPFL, specializing in distributed algorithms and fault-tolerant systems.
