Roman Troxler

Roman Troxler is an experienced development professional currently serving as the Country Director for Rwanda and Lead Skills Development for Central, Eastern, and Southern Africa (CESAF) at Swisscontact since May 2024. In this role, Roman is focused on promoting local talent and addressing Rwanda's key development challenges through business development and project initiation in areas such as market systems development and climate-smart agriculture. Previously, Roman held various positions, including Managing Co-Director at KEK – CDC, where oversight of international cooperation operations and consulting on economic development projects were key responsibilities. Roman's expertise encompasses vocational skills development, youth employment, and entrepreneurship, bolstered by a solid educational foundation including multiple degrees in International Affairs from the University of St. Gallen and Sciences Po, complemented by a recent Certificate in Advanced Studies in NPO-Management from the Verbandsmanagement Institut.
