Derek Sorensen

Derek Sorensen currently serves as Engagement Manager and Senior Consultant at Swisslog Warehouse & Distribution Solutions since January 2017, and has been a Senior Consultant at FORTE, a Swisslog Company since May 2011. Prior experience includes roles as Practice Area Team Lead and Senior Consultant at TranSystems from April 2007 to June 2011 and as Senior Consultant and Project Manager at ESYNC from April 2001 to April 2007. Derek began the career as a Consultant at Miebach Logistics in early 2000 and worked as a Manufacturing Engineer at Keykert USA from 1998 to 2000. Derek holds a B.S.E. in Industrial & Operations Engineering from the University of Michigan and completed advanced courses at AutoStore Academy related to warehouse automation.
