Muamar Behnam

Muamar Behnam is an experienced professional with a strong background in management and communications. Currently serving as Managing Director and a member of Senior Management at Swissquote since January 2012, Muamar oversees sales operations at the company's headquarters in Gland, focusing on eFX for retail, institutional, and white label clients. Prior experience includes partnership and senior account management roles at Label Communications and Marvel Communications, where project management capabilities were applied to major clients including Japan Tobacco International, Nestlé, Swissquote, and the International Olympic Committee. Muamar began a career in journalism with positions at Match Mag and La Suisse, complemented by educational qualifications in law from the University of Geneva and journalism from the Centre Romand de Formation des Journalistes. Additional training in communication and marketing was completed at SAWI.
