Niklaus Evitt

Niklaus Evitt has a diverse work experience beginning in 2011 with Stanford University, where they held roles as a Chemistry Tutor, Research Assistant and Teaching Assistant. In 2014 they interned at Genentech as a Protein Analytical Chemistry Intern. In 2015 they joined Apple as a Chemistry Lab/Research Scientist in Hardware Technologies. From 2017-2018 they were a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine and from 2018-2022 they were a Graduate Research Fellow and Founding Scientist I at the same institution. Most recently, in 2022 they joined Switch Bioworks as Vice President of Operations.

Niklaus Evitt attended Stanford University from 2011 to 2015, where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering. Niklaus then went on to pursue a Doctor of Medicine and Doctor of Philosophy at the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine, both of which they are expected to complete in 2025. Niklaus'sPhD is in Cell/Cellular and Molecular Biology.
