Geurt Woudenberg

Geurt Woudenberg has extensive experience in the technology and datacenter industry. Geurt is currently the DGA at GWO Consultancy B.V., a position they have held since October 2021. Prior to this, they worked at Switch Datacenter Group as the Director Operations & CTO starting from March 2019.

Before joining Switch Datacenter Group, Geurt worked at Hewlett Packard Enterprise, where they held two roles. Geurt was a Principal Technical Consultant EMEA from January 2018 to March 2019 and a Senior Datacenter Engineer EMEA from August 2015 to January 2018.

Geurt's career also includes a role as Lead Engineer at Imtech Datacenter Solutions from February 2012 to August 2015, and a position as a Consultant datacenters at Volker Wessels Telecom from September 2010 to February 2012.

Geurt Woudenberg began their career as a projectengineer at Imtech Building Services in 1998, where they stayed until 2010.

Geurt Woudenberg has a diverse background in education, with a focus on both datacenter design and integrated building and engineering. In 2009, they began their studies at HU University of Applied Sciences Utrecht (Hogeschool Utrecht), where they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Integrated Building & Engineering Beng. Geurt successfully completed this program in 2012. Following this, Geurt pursued further education in the field of datacenter design and became an Accredited Tier Designer at the Uptime Institute, where they studied until 2015.
