Nick Drew

Nick Drew is a seasoned electrical engineer specializing in electric vehicle (EV) architecture and integration, with a career spanning over a decade in the industry. Currently serving as Principal Electrical Engineer at Switch Mobility since June 2019, Nick manages engineering project plans, oversees the design of EV systems, and ensures regulatory compliance. Previously, at Optare PLC, Nick focused on similar responsibilities regarding vehicle integration and component specification. Nick's expertise originated at MAGTEC, where an initial role as a PCB Assembly Technician evolved into key positions in electrical and electronic engineering, including the integration of EV products into commercial vehicles. Nick holds a Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) in Electronic Engineering from Sheffield Hallam University and a BTEC National Diploma in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Chesterfield College.
