Jeff Vergouwen

Jeff Vergouwen is a Senior Advisor at Switch Power. Jeff has over 20 years of experience in the energy sector, with a focus on commercial and financial analysis.

Jeff started their career in the early 1990s as a Commercial Analyst with Agra Monenco. In this role, they were responsible for financial analysis and strategic planning for local and international clients. Some of the projects they worked on during this time included financial analysis for a CIDA-funded electric energy planning project in China, and financial evaluation support for TransAlta Utilities in their Generation Business Services department.

After a few years with Agra Monenco, Jeff moved to Acuity Projects Inc., where they spent over 10 years as a Senior Project Manager. In this role, they were responsible for leading project teams in the delivery of consulting services to clients in the energy sector. Jeff also played a key role in business development, helping to grow the company's client base and expand its services into new markets.

In their current role as Senior Advisor at Switch Power, Jeff is responsible for providing advice and support on a variety of projects, including those related to electric vehicle infrastructure, renewable energy, and battery storage.

Jeff Vergouwen holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from The University of Calgary, an Honours degree from the Canadian Securities Course, and a Bachelor of Commerce (BComm) in Finance from The University of Lethbridge. Jeff also attended Strathmore High School.
