Trevor White

Trevor White is the current President & CEO at Switch Power. Prior to this, they served as the Vice President of Business Development and Special Projects at CWL Energy Management Ltd. from January 2017 to June 2019. In this role, they managed business development for linear, upstream and power/utility divisions, including management of sales and marketing team. Trevor also created, developed and managed the Special Projects Division, which was responsible for development as a service, and early investment into power development projects.

Before CWL Energy Management Ltd., Trevor served as the Director of Corporate and Business Development at Canada West Land from September 2014 to January 2017. In this role, they were responsible for supporting corporate strategy as a member of the management team and overseeing corporate development initiatives such as process improvement, integration of business systems, assessment of M&A opportunities, and expansion and capital growth opportunities.

Prior to their work in the private sector, Trevor served as a Speaker/Ambassador for HSBC and Clean Air Champions from April 2011 to March 2013. In this role, they educated the public on environmental issues and advocated for clean air initiatives.

Trevor has also served on the Board of Directors for the Alberta Alpine Ski Association from September 2016 to October 2018.

Trevor White has a Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.)- Honours from Royal Roads University in the field of Business/Commerce. Trevor also has a certification from the International Olympic Committee – IOC in Olympian. Trevor White's educational career also includes studying Psychology and German Language Studies at the University of Calgary, as well as Sociology at Athabasca University. Trevor also has a High School Diploma from the National Sport School.
