Rob Young MBE is the Chief Executive and Co-Founder of the Switch The Play Foundation, a charity dedicated to assisting sportspeople in their transition to life beyond sports, improving the transition process through training, policy influence, and collaboration. Additionally, Rob Young serves as Director of Robert Young Consulting Ltd, providing advisory services to organizations in the sport and leisure sectors, and has held the position of Board Member at Greater Sport. Previous roles include leading the Northwest vision for the 2012 Olympic Games at the Department for Culture, Media and Sport and the Northwest Regional Development Agency. Rob Young's earlier experience also includes a Senior Consultant role at PMP Consultancy, working on strategic projects for various government and sporting bodies. Educational qualifications include an MSc in Recreation Management and a BSc in Physical Education, Sport Science and Recreation Management, both from Loughborough University.
