Federico Sommaruga

Federico Sommaruga has extensive experience in the travel and tourism industry, serving in various leadership roles since January 1986 at Switzerland Tourism, including Director of Emerging Markets & Special Projects, Manager of Market Development, and Director for Russia/CIS, India, and GCC. Prior to that, Federico held the position of Manager at the Western Reservation Center for Rail Europe Group from 1990 to 1994. Federico holds a Lic.oec. degree in Economy, Travel & Tourism from the University of St.Gallen, where studies were completed from 1979 to 1985.
