Romani Rupasinghe is an experienced engineering leader with a solid background in software development and management. Currently serving as Vice President and Head of Engineering at Swivel Group since August 2019, Romani oversees engineering operations for a Melbourne-based BPO consultancy firm specializing in offshoring and outsourcing solutions. Previously, Romani held the role of Head of Engineering at Tokoin, focusing on enhancing the growth of micro, small, and medium enterprises through a digital business identity platform. Romani's extensive experience also includes a tenure at Pearson, where roles ranged from Senior Software Engineering Manager to Technical Lead, overseeing a large-scale access management platform for millions of user accounts. Early career experience includes various engineering positions at hSenid Business Solutions, managing development teams and client deployments across multiple international markets. Romani holds a Master of Science in Information Technology and Management from Keele University and a Bachelor of Science in Information Technology from SLIIT.
