Alex Davis

Alex Davis has extensive work experience in the finance and travel industry.

In 1999, they started their career at Grant Thornton LLP, where they worked as a Manager until 2004. From 2005 to 2006, they held the position of Manager at Price Waterhouse Coopers.

In 2006, they joined Flight Centre UK Limited as the Head of Finance, a role they held until 2010. At Flight Centre (NZ) Ltd, they served as the Chief Financial Officer from 2010 to 2013.

From 2013 to 2015, Davis worked at Flight Centre Limited as the GM Enterprise Risk (Northern Hemisphere). Alex then joined Key Travel as the Group Chief Financial Officer from 2015 to 2019.

Since 2019, Davis has been working as a Consultant and Non-Executive Director (NED) within the travel industry. Alex has particular expertise in finance, funding, regulatory affairs, and mergers and acquisitions.

In 2018, Davis also took on the role of Chief Financial Officer at Swoop Patagonia, Antarctica and Arctic. Additionally, they became a NED and finance and strategic advisor on Swoop Travel's Advisory Board.

Alex Davis has a degree in Modern Languages (French and Spanish) from the University of Oxford. Alex also attended Winchester College.
