Alan Cooper

Alan Cooper is a seasoned technology professional with extensive experience in infrastructure and platform management. Currently serving as a Senior Infrastructure Consultant at Sword Group since September 2025, Alan focuses on designing on-premise and hybrid infrastructure for operational technology environments. Prior to this, Alan held various leadership positions at Exizent, including Head of Technology and Head of Platform, where responsibilities included developing technology strategy and building automated deployment pipelines. Alan's background also features significant roles at Skyscanner as Principal Systems Engineer and Technical Manager for Business Resilience, as well as leadership positions in infrastructure and operations at Multrees Investor Services, Pulsant Limited, and Lumison. Alan graduated from The University of Edinburgh, completing studies from 1988 to 2002.
