Jared Owen

Jared Owen serves as the Business Unit Director at Sword Group since June 2021, overseeing a large data engineering services organization and global client portfolio while specializing in engineering-led services and digital twin SaaS solutions. Previously, as Digital Director - Energy, Jared focused on business growth and strategy for digital, data, and software services across multiple sectors. In earlier roles, Jared held the position of Director - Digital & Entrepreneurship at Opportunity North East Limited, Managing Director - Projects & Consulting at DSA Practice Ltd, and various roles at Hewlett Packard Enterprise, bp, Shell, and Sword Group. Academic credentials include an MBA from Robert Gordon University and a BSc in Computing from the same institution.
