Eduardo Alves is an accomplished engineering leader with extensive experience in software development and architecture. Currently serving as the Director of Engineering at Sword Health since September 2021, Eduardo has previously held key positions at AREX Markets, including Principal Software Architect and Head of Technical Development, where responsibilities included managing a team of engineers, overseeing software architecture design, and driving technical strategy aligned with business objectives. Eduardo's technical expertise encompasses Go, JavaScript, PostgreSQL, and cloud technologies, alongside a solid academic foundation with a Master's Degree in Informatics and Computing Engineering and a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science from the University of Porto.
