Marcos Briceno

Marcos Briceno's work experience includes founding and serving as CEO of Swordfish Energy since 2022. Prior to that, they worked at Advance Energy Partners, LLC as VP Asset Development & Planning from 2015 to 2021. From 2005 to 2015, they held various roles at ConocoPhillips, including Manager of Global Completions, Director of Enhanced Recovery Technology, Supervisor of Permian Development, Subsurface Asset Lead, and Senior Reservoir Engineer. Before that, they worked as an Asset Engineer at Petrozuata (PDVSA - ConocoPhillips) from 2002 to 2005.

Marcos Briceno completed their Bachelor's Degree in Petroleum Engineering from Universidad de Oriente (VE) in the years 1997 to 2002. Marcos then pursued a Master's Degree in Petroleum Engineering from Texas A&M University from 2008 to 2010.
