Lauris Rutkis

Lauris Rutkis has a diverse work experience that spans several industries. In 2014, they worked as an intern at DHL, gaining valuable experience in logistics. Lauris then interned at NHTV Breda University of Applied Sciences, where they focused on coordinating food safety incidents in complex supply chains. In 2016, they interned at Yusen Logistics Benelux before joining Maersk Line as a Cargo Execution Operator, responsible for managing load, discharge, and transshipment processes. In 2020, Lauris became a Business Development Project Manager at DPD Latvija, where they worked until 2021. From 2021 to 2022, they served as a Logistics Development & Partnerships Manager at Printful. In 2022, Lauris joined Girteka as a Revenue Manager before co-founding their own company, swotzy., where they currently hold the position of Co-founder and CEO. Overall, Lauris has demonstrated expertise in logistics, project management, and business development throughout their career.

Lauris Rutkis completed a Bachelor's Degree in Logistics Engineering from Breda University of Applied Sciences from 2012 to 2016. Before that, they attended Liepājas 5. vidusskola and completed their high school education in Economics from 2000 to 2012.
