Shengming Shan

Shengming Shan is the CEO and Cofounder of SWR Technology. Shengming has over 15 years of experience in the semiconductor industry, working in a variety of positions including Director of Engineering and RF Systems Manager.

Shengming Shan started their career in 2002 as an Applications Engineering Manager at Silicon Laboratories. Shengming moved to NXP Semiconductors in 2007, where they became the RF Systems Manager. In 2009 they joined ST-Ericsson as the RF Systems Manager for their cellular transceiver development team.

In 2012 Shan moved to Qualcomm, where they became the Director of Engineering. Shengming led a cross-geo system engineering team responsible for the architecture, design and validation of leading edge connected home products. Under their leadership, the team successfully reduced hardware design cycle time by 30%.

In 2016 Shan left Qualcomm to start SWR Technology, a company that provides engineering services and solutions for semiconductor companies.

Shengming Shan has a MSEE in Microelectronics from Stony Brook University and a BSEE in Communications Engineering from National Chiao Tung University.
