Desmond Soon

Desmond Soon has a diverse work experience that spans various roles and industries. Desmond started their career as an Intern Background Artist at Defiant Games in 2013, where they collaborated with engineers and directors to create appealing background designs for a game. Desmond then moved on to Jam Media Ltd in 2016, where they worked as a Character Animator for shows like Little Roy and Becca's Bunch. Desmond consistently met animation quotas and showed initiative by learning new software for challenging projects.

In 2018, Desmond joined Boulder Media as a 2D and 3D Animator, utilizing Toon Boom Harmony to create and integrate animation for a unique show. Desmond worked closely with other teams, demonstrating patience and understanding of their perspectives.

Desmond's experience at Google, starting in 2020, included multiple roles. As a Software Engineering Apprentice, they gained skills in building and maintaining tools to automate tasks.
