Justin Bankston

Justin Bankston has a diverse work experience in the field of technology. Justin started their career at IBM Tivoli Systems, Inc. in 1995 as a Developer and worked there until 2000. From 2000 to 2001, they worked as a Software Developer at HireStorm. In 2001, they joined Esoterix as a UI Designer/Developer and stayed there until 2003. In 2003, they briefly worked as a Web and Lotus Notes Developer at Emissary. Justin then moved on to projekt202 in 2004 as a Contract UI/UX Designer and Developer. From 2005 to 2011, Justin worked at SXSW as a Web Application Developer, and later as the Head of Software until 2016. Currently, they hold the position of Chief Technology Officer at SXSW.
