Krista Quiroga

Krista Quiroga has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Krista is currently serving as the Director of Experiential Design at SXSW since January 2022. Prior to this, they held positions within the same company, including Senior Experiential Design Manager from September 2021 to January 2022, Senior Signage Manager from May 2019 to September 2021, and Signage Manager from September 2014 to May 2019. Additionally, they worked at SXSW as an Interactive Art Assistant from October 2013 to May 2014 and as an Interactive Festival Design Intern from June 2013 to October 2013. Before joining SXSW, Krista worked at Texas State University as a Printmaking Shop Assistant and Gallery Preparator from August 2012 to May 2013. Krista also gained experience as a Graphic Design Intern at AMOA-Arthouse from January 2013 to April 2013. In their earlier career, they served as the Video Operations Manager at PGi from July 2008 to August 2010. Furthermore, Krista has worked as an Intern at AdGraphics Inc., where they contributed valuable skills in graphic design, vinyl application, signage creation, and print production from June 2007 to August 2007, earning recognition for their contributions.

Krista Quiroga attended Texas State University-San Marcos from 2010 to 2013, earning a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) degree. Krista'sfield of study was Communication Design and Studio Art with an emphasis in Printmaking. Prior to that, they briefly attended The University of Texas at Austin from 2007 to 2008, and Manhattanville College from 2006 to 2007, but no degree or field of study is specified for those institutions.
