Joshua Loving

Joshua Loving has a diverse work experience, starting with their current role as Associate Director of Clinical Data Science at Syapse since March 2023. Previously, they held the position of Manager of Clinical Data Science at Syapse from October 2020 to March 2023. Prior to that, they worked as a Senior Clinical Data Scientist from March 2020 to October 2020 and as a Clinical Data Scientist from September 2019 to March 2020, both at Syapse.

Before joining Syapse, Joshua worked at Philips as a Scientist from December 2016 to September 2019. Joshua also has academic experience at Boston University, where they were a PhD Candidate from June 2013 to December 2016 and a PhD Student from July 2011 to June 2013.

Joshua's early professional experience includes roles as a Writing Tutor from February 2009 to May 2011 and a Math Tutor from August 2008 to May 2009 at the University of Hawaii at Hilo.

Joshua Loving completed their education in a chronological order. Joshua started their academic journey at the University of Hawaii at Hilo from 2007 to 2011, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Mathematics. Simultaneously, they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from the University of Hawaii System during the same period. Joshua then furthered their education at Boston University from 2011 to 2016, completing a Ph.D. in Bioinformatics.
