Abu Mahdi Nik Mansor

Abu Mahdi Nik Mansor has a diverse work experience spanning over 16 years. Starting in 2006, they worked as a Substitute Teacher at SMK Agama Wataniah in Machang, Kelantan. In 2009, they became a part-time Facilitator at IIUM, a role they held until 2010.

In 2011, Abu Mahdi took on multiple roles simultaneously. Abu Mahdi worked as an Administrative Assistant (Part-Time) at the International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM) from September to December, and also worked as a Tutor at Pusat Tuition Pandan Indah from June to December. Additionally, they worked at Agrobank, Malaysia as part of the Shariah Research & Training team from December 2011 to September 2014.

In 2014, Abu Mahdi joined AmMetLife Takaful Berhad as a Senior Executive Shariah, where they worked until May 2018. Abu Mahdi then moved to RHB Banking Group and served as a Senior Manager Shariah from June 2018 to March 2021. Following that, they joined Bank Simpanan Nasional as the Shariah Head / Vice President from March 2021 to June 2022.

Currently, Abu Mahdi holds the position of Head of Shariah Review at Syarikat Takaful Malaysia Berhad, starting from June 2022. Throughout their career, Abu Mahdi has developed a strong background in Shariah principles in the financial industry.

Abu Mahdi Nik Mansor's education history starts in 2002 when they attended SMK (A) Wataniah and obtained their Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) in the Sciences Stream in 2003. Abu Mahdi then moved on to the Matriculation Centre of IIUM and completed their Matriculation degree in Biological Sciences from 2004 to 2006. Following that, they attended the International Islamic University Malaysia from 2006 to 2010, earning double degrees in Islamic Economics & Islamic Studies. Abu Mahdi furthered their education at the Internatioan Centre for Education in Islamic Finance (INCEIF) in 2010-2011, obtaining a Chartered Islamic Finance Professional qualification, specializing in Islamic Finance.
