Afifi Rashid

Afifi Rashid has a work experience that includes being a Software Engineer at Syarikat Takaful Malaysia Berhad from February 2017 to present. In this role, they troubleshoot and fixes production issues related to insurance certificates, develops software solutions for certificate design and processing automation, designs email solutions within PreS Connect software, and handles advanced logic using JavaScript/HTML, CSS, and SQL. Prior to that, Afifi worked as an Oracle Developer at Datawiz Consultancy Services Sdn. Bhd. from August 2015 to October 2022. In this role, they identified and corrected bugs in the system, worked on Oracle reports/forms based on user requirements, and analyzed changes and enhancements for existing projects. Afifi also had an internship at the same company from January 2015 to July 2015.

Afifi Rashid completed a Master of Science in Information Management from Universiti Teknologi MARA from 2016 to 2018, specializing in Management Information Systems and Services. Before that, from 2013 to 2015, Rashid pursued a Bachelor's degree (Hons) in Information System Management from the same institution, focusing on Management Information Systems, General. Additionally, Rashid obtained a Diploma in Information Management from Universiti Teknologi MARA from 2010 to 2013. In 2005 and 2006, Rashid attended Multimedia University for a Foundation in IT.

In terms of certifications, Rashid obtained the Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert certification in June 2023 from Microsoft. Similarly, in May 2023, Rashid achieved the Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate and Microsoft Certified: Azure Security Engineer Associate certifications, also from Microsoft.
