Fui Ny Chong

Fui Ny Chong began their work experience in 1999 as an Underwriting Officer at GREAT EASTERN. Fui Ny ensured that all underwriting processes were conducted within service standards and provided assistance to other team members. In 2004, they joined ING Insurance Berhad as the Head of Technical Underwriting Helpdesk, where they led a team responsible for serving as a contact point for the New Business Department.

In 2008, Fui Ny Chong was appointed as the Head of New Business Administration and Training at Prudential Assurance, where they managed a team of 38 staff and handled operational and administrative tasks such as data entry, contract issuance, and policy cancelation.

In 2010, they joined Syarikat Takaful Malaysia Berhad as the Head of Family Underwriting, overseeing teams for both Group and Individual plans. Subsequently, they joined Zurich Life Insurance Malaysia Berhad in 2015 as the Head of Life and Family New Business, later becoming the Chief Underwriting Officer responsible for overseeing daily operations, projects, and new product launches.

Fui Ny Chong attended Sekolah Menengah St Mary Kuala Lumpur from 1988 to 1992, where they obtained their SPM degree with a focus on Science. Following this, Fui Ny Chong pursued higher education at Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia from 1995 to 1999, earning a Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) degree with a specialization in Finance and Financial Management Services.
