Rina Sarif

Rina Sarif has extensive experience in human resources, with a focus on leadership and talent management. Rina is currently the Group Chief Human Resources Officer at Takaful Malaysia since April 2023. Previously, they held the position of Head, Organisation Management at Digital Nasional Berhad from September 2022 to April 2023. Prior to that, they were the Chief Human Capital Officer at Lembaga Tabung Haji from August 2020 to October 2022.

Rina has also held key roles in renowned organizations such as Tenaga Nasional Berhad, where they served as the General Manager, Group Human Resources from August 2016 to August 2020. At Chemical Company of Malaysia Berhad, they were the General Manager, Group Human Resources from August 2014 to August 2016. Additionally, they have experience as an HR Director at LAZADA GROUP, ROCKET INTERNET GmBH, Head of Human Capital Management at AmBank Group, Vice President, HRBP Corporate and Business Banking at Maybank, Country HR Manager at Dentsu Aegis Network, and HR Manager at MIMOS Berhad.

Throughout their career, Rina has demonstrated their ability to develop and implement HR strategies, manage talent, drive organizational transformations, and provide cost-effective HR solutions. Rina is known for their strong partnership with business leaders and their commitment to enhancing people readiness and employee value propositions.

Rina Sarif holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry from the University of Malaya. Rina is also a Certified Strategic Talent Acquisition Specialist, having obtained the certification from the Human Capital Institute. Additionally, Rina is a Certified Practitioner of Neurolingistic Programming from The National Federation of Neuro Linguistic Programming. Rina has also received certification as a Competency Behavioural Interviewer from DDI International.

In 2021, Rina enrolled in the International Women Coaching Academy and became a Certified Women Coach. Rina is also certified in Women Leadership from the Institute for Human Resource Professionals. Furthermore, Rina has completed the Bursa Mandatory Accreditation Program (MAP) in Directorship from the Institute of Corporate Directors (ICDM).

Aside from their formal education and certifications, Rina obtained a certification in Human Leadership from LinkedIn in August 2022.
