Agnieszka Sybilska

Project Manager, Research & Development Expert, Astrophysicist at Sybilla Technologies

Agnieszka Sybilska has held various roles in the field of astroinformatics and astrophysics. From 2017 to present, they have been working as a Project Manager, Astrophysicist and Astroinformatics specialist at Sybilla Technologies Sp. z o.o. In 2017, they were also a Postdoctoral Researcher at Baltic Institute of Technology. From 2014 to 2017, they were a Postdoctoral Fellow at the European Southern Observatory. From 2009 to 2012, they were a Resident Astrophysicist at the Instituto de Astrofísica de Canarias. During 2012, they were a Visiting Scientist at the Max Planck Institute for Astronomy in Germany, where they studied the dynamical properties of low-mass galaxies and created an IDL-Python based pipeline to automate the dynamical models' running and error analysis. In 2008, they were a Summer Research Assistant at the Space Telescope Science Institute, where they investigated the properties of nearby starburst galaxies with the use of Hubble Space Telescope WFPC2 and ACS photometric data.

Agnieszka Sybilska obtained their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Astrophysics from the University of La Laguna, Tenerife, Spain between 2009 and 2014.
