Gustavo Martínez Salazar has extensive work experience in various engineering roles. Gustavo started their career as a Process Development Trainee at SKF, where they focused on tooling design and efficiency improvement projects. Gustavo then worked as a CAD draftsman at Benemérita Universidad Autónoma de Puebla, where they were responsible for drawing and analysis tasks related to instrumentation and process diagrams.

After that, Gustavo worked as a Design Engineer at AVIREX GROUP, where they specialized in welding tooling design for automotive companies such as VW, Honda, and GM. Gustavo was responsible for creating blueprints and documentation for each project.

Gustavo then joined Volkswagen de Mexico as a Design Engineer, where they designed front-end components and tooling for various VW models. Gustavo also provided technical support and handled client needs and production drawings interpretation.

Gustavo later worked at ThyssenKrupp Presta de México as a Product Design Engineer. In this role, they focused on designing steering columns for OEMs such as VW, Audi, Porsche, Ford, and Daimler. Gustavo extensively used GD&T for creating 2D blueprints.

Gustavo then moved to SyBridge Technologies, where they worked as a Mold Design Engineer. Here, they were responsible for implementing engineering changes on injection plastic molds for the automotive industry in Mexico and the USA. Gustavo also designed tooling fixtures for the shop floor.

After that, Gustavo joined Adient as a CAD Product Engineer, where they utilized their CAD skills to support product engineering tasks.

Gustavo returned to SyBridge Technologies as a Mold Design Engineer, where they continued working on injection plastic molds. Gustavo also received training and worked in Canada for four months.

Most recently, Gustavo joined FRIMO North America as a Design Engineer/Program Manager. Here, they were responsible for CAD design of hydraulic presses and PUR injection molds for the automotive industry. Gustavo also served as a program manager for PUR injection tools, tool carriers, and hydraulic presses.

Throughout their career, Gustavo has demonstrated strong technical skills and experience in CAD design, mold design, program management, and product engineering in the automotive industry.

Gustavo Martínez Salazar graduated from the Benemérita Universidad Autónoma de Puebla in 2008 with a degree in Industrial Engineering. Gustavo then pursued further education by completing a Master's program in Innovation and Technology Management at the Universidad Politécnica de Puebla from 2013 to 2015. Gustavo has also obtained several certifications, including "Gestión de proyectos de automatización industrial esencial," "Introduction to Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing," "Project Leadership," and "SOLIDWORKS 2019 esencial," all obtained from LinkedIn in March 2021.
