Roland Van Hee

Roland Van Hee is the CTO at Sybrin. Roland has over 15 years of experience in the software development industry.

Roland started their career as a data capturer for Elna Home Products. Roland then moved into software development, working for Sultron Design and Consulting CC, where they were responsible for developing database and POS applications, as well as graphic design.

In 2005, Roland joined KeySentry, where they were responsible for development of database applications and an access control system that used biometric data. In addition to other duties, they ensured that research and development department ran smoothly.

In 2007, Roland joined Konica Minolta as a software developer. Roland was responsible for developing multiple applications, forms, reports, and services by using a variety of development platforms, including Visual Studio, MS SQL 2005, and Adobe LifeCycle.

Since joining Sybrin in 2008, Roland has been responsible for the company's technology strategy and roadmap. Roland has played a key role in the development of Sybrin's products and solutions, which are used by some of the world's largest organizations.

Roland Van Hee has a diploma in IT programming and a diploma in PC engineering from Varsity College. Roland also went to Allen Glen High School.

Roland Van Hee reports to Marius Mare, Group CEO. Some of their coworkers include Gerhard Malan - Group CFO, Salvatore Errera - Head, Product & Innovations, and Henry Button - Head of Operations Africa.
