Javier García López, PhD, has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Javier is currently the Co-Founder & CTO of Sycai Technologies, a position they have held since February 2020. Prior to this, they worked as a Researcher PhD Student at Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya from November 2016 to December 2020.

In addition, Javier has served as a Workshop-Moderator at VDI Wissensforum GmbH from September 2018 to February 2020, conducting regular workshops on optical sensor in autonomous driving and deep learning in different European cities.

Before these roles, they worked at FICOSA as a Computer Vision Project Lead, Embedded Software Integration Team Lead, and Embedded Software Engineer from July 2016 to February 2020. Javier also gained experience as a Development Engineer for steering systems at Bertrandt from January 2015 to June 2016.

Furthermore, they have contributed to various organizations, including DLR as a specialist in analyzing and controlling complex robot systems from July 2014 to January 2015, Fraunhofer-Gesellschaft as a CFD Fluid Simulation expert from November 2013 to July 2014, and EDAG as a Testing Engineer from April 2013 to October 2013.

Javier's work experience extends back to their involvement with UPM Racing, where they were a member of the vehicle electronics team and participated in the Hockenheim competition in Germany in 2011.

Javier García López, PhD, obtained their education from two prestigious institutions. Javier earned a Diplom-Ingenieur degree in Elektrotechnik und Elektronik from the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid, where they studied from 2007 to 2012. Following this, they pursued a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Maschinenbau from the Technical University of Munich, completing their studies in 2014.
