Christian Long has a diverse work experience spanning over different organizations and roles. Currently, they are the Director of Technology at Sycamore Community Schools, where they lead and provides vision for technology experiences for staff and students. Prior to this, they worked at Oak Hills Local School District in various roles, including Digital Innovation Administrator, Admin/eLearning Support, and eLearning/EMIS/Special Programs, where they played a key role in technology support, infrastructure, and innovative solutions. In addition, Christian also worked at netTrekker as a Sales Support Representative, assisting with sales accounts and database management. Before transitioning to the education sector, they spent significant time at Great Miami Valley YMCA as the Youth & Sports Director, Youth & Membership Director, Camp Director, and Camp Counselor, where they managed various youth programs and experiences. Overall, Christian's work experience demonstrates their expertise in technology, education, and youth development.

Christian Long earned their Master of Education (M.Ed.) degree in Education from Xavier University from 2013 to 2016. Prior to that, they completed their undergraduate studies at Ball State University from 2006 to 2010, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Telecommunications. In addition to their formal education, Christian also obtained certifications, including the Certified Education Technology Leader from the Consortium for School Networking (CoSN) in November 2021, and the Innovation Engineering Blue Belt from the Innovation Engineering Institute in May 2019.
