Gennady Bortnikov

Gennady Bortnikov is an experienced leader in software quality assurance with a career spanning over two decades. Currently serving as the Director of Software Quality Assurance at Sycle since February 2025, Gennady implements and oversees quality assurance practices focusing on test strategies. Previously, Gennady held directorial roles at RentMoola and Xera One Technologies Inc., where responsibilities included scaling quality engineering departments and managing testing methodologies. Gennady also contributed significantly to Global Relay, establishing and expanding the QA department, and has held various QA roles at Fiver Media, Riptown, and Top Producer Systems throughout a robust career that began with a degree in Computer Information Systems from Douglas College.
