Denis Panel

Denis Panel is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in asset management. Currently serving as the Chief Executive Officer at Sycomore Asset Management since April 2023, Denis previously held key positions including Chief Investment Officer MAQS at BNP Paribas Asset Management from November 2017 to March 2023, and Chief Executive Officer and Chief Investment Officer at THEAM from April 2011 to October 2017. Earlier in their career, Denis was the Global Head of BNPPAM SIGMA at BNPP Asset Management and held various leadership roles at Crédit Agricole Asset Management, including Head of Global Balanced Management and Head of Funds of Funds Management. Denis began their career as a Fixed Income Portfolio Manager at both Credit Agricole Asset Management and Société Générale Asset Management. Denis holds a degree in Actuary from ISFA, completed between 1991 and 1994.
