Manfred Großmann

Manfred Großmann has a comprehensive work experience in various roles and positions. Manfred is currently working at Sycor as the CIO and Vice President of Corporate IT & Project/Service Excellence. In this role, they are responsible for leading project management, methodology, and operational governance for the Sycor Group. Manfred also holds the position of Abteilungsleiter Project Excellence & Governance, where they oversee project management and its methodology, operational governance, and process ownership for commercial projects and PMO.

Before joining Sycor, Manfred worked at Syntax Systems Deutschland, where they held several leadership positions. Manfred was the Director of the S/4HANA & Cloud Solutions CoE, leading a team of 50+ experts in providing SAP S/4HANA and SAP ERP projects. Manfred also served as the Director of HANA Innovation and Projects, Director of the Automotive Industry in Europe, and Executive Industry Expert for PLM/Manufacturing. In these roles, they were responsible for various aspects of sales, presales, consulting, project management, and key account management within the automotive and manufacturing industries.

Prior to that, Manfred gained valuable experience at SAP as a Project Manager/Consultant, where they worked on large implementation and template projects for automotive OEM businesses such as Daimler AG, BMW AG, and Bosch Power Tools.

Early in their career, Manfred served as an SAP Project Manager at the ebm-papst Group, where they managed SAP projects.

Overall, Manfred Großmann has a strong background in project management, SAP consulting, and leadership roles within the IT industry, particularly in the automotive and manufacturing sectors.

Manfred Großmann completed their education at multiple institutions. From 2004 to 2007, they attended the University of Cooperative Education Mosbach and obtained a degree in Wirtschaftsinformatik. In 2006 and 2007, they studied at The Open University and earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) with Honours in Business Administration. In addition to their formal education, Manfred also holds various certifications, including the Fachkraft für agile Führung (IHK) from thekey.academy and the LLDP Leading Leaders Development Program from Freudenberg Group, obtained in 2021 and 2019, respectively. Manfred has also obtained certifications in SAP-related fields, such as PLM145 Variant Configuration in 2016 and PLM150 Engineering Change Management in 2014. Manfred is a certified SAP Project Manager by the Project Management Institute since 2011. Manfred also completed the Train the Trainer program in 2006 and received the Sales Executive Qualification for SAP S/4HANA, certified by SAP, at an unspecified time.
