Riya Brahma is currently serving as a Donor Engagement Coordinator at the Sydney Children's Hospitals Foundation since January 2023. Riya has also been actively volunteering with ActionAid since May 2021. Previous roles include Community Associate at WeWork from March 2022 to January 2023, Administrative Officer at Allied Pinnacle from November 2020 to May 2022, and Transcribing and Research at the Special Broadcasting Service (SBS) Australia between April 2020 and May 2022. Riya also worked as a Research Assistant at UNSW from December 2019 to April 2020 and volunteered with the Australian Red Cross from March 2019 to February 2020. An internship was completed at the Ministry of External Affairs in India in 2017, and Riya gained experience as a Policy Research Intern at Justice Action from July to September 2017. Riya holds a Master's degree in International Relations and Affairs from the University of Sydney, completed between 2017 and 2019.
