Alicia Hatton

Alicia Hatton is a seasoned communications professional currently serving as the Communications Manager at Sydney Metro since February 2022. Prior experience includes roles as Project Manager Engage at Newgate Communications – Australia from October 2020 to February 2022, and Community Engagement Officer at WaterNSW between November 2018 and October 2020. Alicia spent over a decade at PlanCom Consulting as a Community Engagement/Social Planner, contributing to community liaison and environmental assessments, and also held a position as Research and Project Manager at Rodin Genoff & Associates, focusing on industry strategies. Early career experience includes working as a Community Engagement/Social Planner at GHD. Alicia holds a Bachelor of Science in Human Geography and Demography from Macquarie University, a Certificate in Social Impact Assessment from the University of Strathclyde, a Certificate in Public Participation from IAP2, and is currently pursuing an MBA with a focus on Social Impact at AGSM @ UNSW Business School.
