Ari Stypel

Ari Stypel is an experienced environmental professional currently serving as the Manager Environment and Manager Planning Approvals at Sydney Metro since August 2021. With a background that includes roles as a Senior Environmental Officer at Transport for NSW and an Environmental Planner at AECOM, Ari specializes in environmental assessment and approvals for various development projects, including road, rail, coastal, and renewable energy initiatives across Victoria and New South Wales. Prior experience includes project management and environmental assessment at the Great Barrier Reef Marine Park Authority, as well as educational roles that involved conducting programs for students at the ReefHQ Aquarium. Ari holds a Master of Science in Natural Resource Management and dual Bachelor of Science degrees in Marine Biology and Zoology from James Cook University, complemented by a study abroad program at the University of Miami.
