Tom Tansey

Tom Tansey is an accomplished fundraising professional with extensive experience in the arts sector. Currently serving as Head of Philanthropy and Head of Major & Planned Giving at Sydney Theatre Company since September 2022, Tom has previously held significant roles at the Australian Chamber Orchestra, including Head of Philanthropy & Partnerships and Events and Special Projects Manager from November 2017 to September 2022. Additional experience includes positions as Annual Giving Manager at Sydney Opera House and Events Manager at the Australian Chamber Orchestra. Tom's career began as Exhibitions Assistant at the Royal Opera House after earning a BA in European Studies from Royal Holloway, University of London. Tom's expertise encompasses major giving, partnership management, and event planning in leading cultural institutions.
