Tommy Karlsson

Tommy Karlsson, P. Eng, currently serves as the Head of CAPEX investments at AB SYDSTEN since October 2018, overseeing strategic evaluations and management of the Industrial Planning tool across two business units with an annual budget exceeding 4 million euros. Karlsson's previous roles include Investment Manager and Senior Project Engineer in the aggregates domain at AB SYDSTEN, focusing on capital expenditures and complex projects ranging from 1 to 40 million euros. Prior to this, Karlsson held the position of Category Manager Investments at Orkla Group, managing strategic procurement for diverse business areas, and worked as a Senior Quality & Management Consultant at Knightec AB. Early career experience includes roles at Kruger Products L.P. and earlier consulting positions at Knightec AB and Epsilon.nu. Tommy holds a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Blekinge Institute of Technology and a high school diploma in Natural Sciences from Brogårdsskolan.
